Recycling and Reuse Drives
Summary: Participate in Community Recycling and Reuse drives.
Description
We all know how to recycle standard materials (Paper/cardboard, glass, certain plastics, textiles), but what do we do with those harder to recycle items (Styrofoam, tires, batteries, etc.) and lightly used items, more suitable for being rehomed over recycled. Periodically there are recycling/reuse drives in Littleton or in the local region. These drives are excellent opportunities to grab the initiative and recycle/rehome the items listed in the drive notices.

- Monitor the Event Page, or watch social media/publications, for advance notice of community recycling/reuse drives.
- Start identifying and flagging items that you want to dispose of that match what the drive is collecting.
- Take advantage of the opportunity to recycle those hard to recycle items and/or donate usable items that you no longer want for reuse.
