What is a Climate Action Plan (CAP)?
A CAP is a roadmap with strategies, actions, and an implementation plan for a community to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from key sectors, including transportation, buildings, and energy. These plans provide additional strategies to support sustainability through waste management and natural land.
Why Does It Matter to Littleton?
The CAP will set clear benchmarks for the town to achieve resiliency goals. Additionally, the plan will identify actions to address GHG emissions and promote sustainability and resiliency. The CAP planning process provides people who live and work in town with the opportunity to provide their thoughts on what these actions should be.
